For those attending for the first time... the fun starts Friday afternoon. Introducing this year: Scottie Scavenger Hunt. Visit the shops and antique stores of Warm Springs on November 5 and 6 and find the coolest Scottie item (have your dated receipt ready as proof of purchase for this event). If our judges declare your item the "way coolest of all" we'll display your photo and a photo of the item you purchased on our web-site for a year and you will earn the coveted official title: Scottie Scavenger of the Year! Then we will have our PJ and pizza party at the Meriweather on Friday evening
Saturday’s festivities begin around 11:00 am and go to 3 pm. Please bring a picnic lunch. We will have some food vendors in case folks didn't want to pack a lunch. Please bring your own chairs, chairs will be scarce.
We will start with a Bagpiper Call to Welcome.
We will have the costume contest and Best Arrooo, Fala Look-a-like, and a sock race for children under 16 with their Scotty. The prizes will be donated by Dog Daye's. All Scotties must be on a leash. We will have a Rescue parade as well.
The closing of the program is the reading of the Rainbow Bridge, followed by the names of the fallen Scots. For anyone wishing to add their beloved Scotty to this list, please send me an email with the information. (last year we had approximately 90 names, so please limit it to just the name of the Scotty) or notify us on line.
