On Saturday evening, after the festivities, our banquet will be held at the Chamber of Commerce building, just a few steps from the Meriweather Country Inn. This building was built by FDR for his mother as a library. It is a very large room, nicely decorated and will easily seat 80 for dinner. Dinner will be at 6:30 pm ending around 9 pm.
The cost of this year’s banquet will be $20 per person. The menu will include baked chicken with gravy, ham and macaroni casserole, roasted ranch potatoes, green beans, sweet carrots, peach cobbler (and other assorted desserts), yeast rolls, and coffee and sweet or unsweetened tea, water.
All reservations MUST be made by OCTOBER 15, 2011. NO tickets will be available at the door. You may pay using PayPal or send your check (made out to STCGA) to Kate Nixon, 940 Kenyan Ct., Lawrenceville, GA 30046. For those wishing to dine elsewhere, you are welcome to join us after dinner for some Christmas caroling and a live auction. The auction will begin at approximately 8 pm.
